Smokin' in the Hood

It's smokin' hot so this Saturday we'll have a Dallas Hash and see if we can enjoy the heat.

We'll be smoking out the mosquitos with a low-grade pecan-wood fire in the portable fire pit. We'll be smoking cigars. And we'll be soakin' our smokin' hot selves in the "cool" tub. Chlorinated and ready!!! Bring a towel if you want to get in... change of clothes... bug spray....  sense of humor, shiggy shoes, and whatever else you might need. Ice Chests will be available at the start to keep food cold until after the circle up...

You'll find hashers at Minyards at the Southwest corner of Hampton Road and Fort Worth Avenue. From either big city take I-30. When you get to Hampton Road exit and go South. Fort Worth Avenue is the first major intersection you'll get to. Look for hashers in the Minyards parking lot.

Special Instructions: Bring a side dish for the BBQ afterwards. The Hares have been smokin' a little something and are determined to feed the lot of you. Smoked Brisket, Smoked Pork and Smoked Sausage provided.... bread, salad and condiments are up to you.
